Do Ironbark credits expire?
No. PAYG credits sit on the account until they're spent. This is encoded at the database level — no expiry column exists in the credits_ledger schema. Subscription tier monthly allowances are use-it-or-lose-it for that month; any PAYG credits bought separately stay until spent.
Why prices in AUD and not USD?
Australian buyers expect AU pricing with GST shown both ways. Every tier lists ex-GST and inc-GST. GST is charged by IRONBARKTECH on all AU-registered customer invoices. International customers are billed ex-GST.
What counts as a scan?
One scan = one full screen of an entity (person or organisation) against the five aggregated sanctions lists plus the ASIC banned-and-disqualified register, the AUSTRAC enforcement register, and the ASIC external-administrations register. One AUSTRAC eligibility determination counts as one scan. One Trust Score composite for an ABN counts as one scan.
What's included in the Free tier?
10 scans per calendar month with no credit card on file. Rate-limited at one scan per minute. Results are returned with the same structured schema as paid tiers but without PDF export, persistent audit log, or webhook monitoring.
What's the difference between Professional and Business?
Professional is 300 scans/month for $99/mo ex-GST — sized for a sole practitioner or small firm running moderate Tranche 2 volume. Business is 1,000 scans/month for $249/mo ex-GST with lower overage rates — sized for multi-professional firms and mid-size practices. Both tiers include webhook monitoring, persistent audit log, and PDF export.
Can I change tiers mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades are pro-rated at the new tier's daily rate. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. PAYG credits on the account are unaffected by tier changes.
When does the Agent API become available?
Phase 5 of the build roadmap. Pricing is $0.05 ex-GST per query via x402 settlement on Base. Joining the waitlist at /for-agents lets you beta-test the API ahead of general availability.
