Do Ironbark credits expire?
No. PAYG credits sit on the account until they're spent. This is encoded at the database level. No expiry column exists in the credits_ledger schema. Subscription tier monthly allowances are use-it-or-lose-it for that month; any PAYG credits bought separately stay until spent.
Why prices in AUD and not USD?
Australian buyers expect to be quoted and billed in their own currency, with no exchange-rate surprise on the card statement. Every price on this page is the amount charged, in AUD.
Is GST charged on top?
No. IRONBARKTECH holds an ABN but is not registered for GST, because turnover is below the A$75,000 registration threshold. No GST is added at checkout and no GST is shown on your receipt, so the price on this page is the amount charged. If you claim input tax credits, note there is no GST component to claim. If turnover later crosses the threshold, registration becomes compulsory and this page will state the GST treatment before it changes.
What counts as a scan?
One scan = one full check of an entity (person or organisation) against the five aggregated sanctions lists plus the ASIC banned-and-disqualified register, the AUSTRAC enforcement register, and the ASIC external-administrations register. One AUSTRAC eligibility determination counts as one scan. One Trust Score composite for an ABN counts as one scan.
What's included in the Free tier?
10 scans per calendar month with no credit card on file. Rate-limited at one scan per minute. Results are returned with the same structured schema as paid tiers but without PDF export, persistent audit log, or webhook monitoring.
Solo or pay-per-check, which should I pick?
Pay-per-check ($0.49, credits never expire) suits low or ad-hoc volume with no commitment. Solo ($29/mo) includes 50 checks a month plus monitoring on 15 ABNs, so it works out cheaper once you run more than ~60 checks a month. Professional ($99/mo) steps up to 300 checks plus webhook monitoring, PDF export, and the 7-year audit log.
Can I change plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades are pro-rated at the new plan's daily rate. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. PAYG credits on the account are unaffected by plan changes.
