Terms of service

Effective 12 August 2026. These terms govern your use of ironbarkaml.com.au and the Ironbark service, supplied by IRONBARKTECH (ABN 29659123086).

What we supply

Ironbark checks Australian businesses against public registers and published sanctions lists, returns a structured result and a Trust Score, and keeps a record that the check was performed. Where we describe a feature as on the roadmap, it is not part of what you are buying today.

What the result is, and what it is not

We reproduce public registers. We do not author them. Register data can be out of date, incomplete or wrong at the source. We show you when we retrieved each field and from where, so you can judge it. We do not warrant that register data is accurate, and we cannot correct it at the source.

A result is an input to your decision, not the decision. The Trust Score is a documented composite of published sub-scores. It is not a recommendation to onboard or refuse a customer, and it is not a credit assessment.

This is not legal or compliance advice. Your AML/CTF obligations, including whether you are a reporting entity, what your program must contain and what you must report, are yours. Using Ironbark does not discharge them and we are not your AMLCO.

Your account

Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you think they have been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not use the service to harass a person or business, to build a competing dataset by bulk extraction, or in a way that breaches Australian law.

Check results are for your own business use. Do not republish a result as a public statement about a named business.

Payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and are the amount charged. Credits do not expire. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your card number.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available and we publish our security and resilience posture on our security page. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and we would rather say so than publish one we have not committed to operationally.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and those rights cannot be excluded. Where the ACL applies and the supply is not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal use, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, and we will tell you why. Some records are retained after closure; what and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We will post changes here with a new effective date and tell account holders directly about material ones. These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction.
